THIS WRITER's JOURNEY

In 2004 my brother started an online blogging site called, “Dear Diary”. Instead of writing about my opinions and life, I wrote the first 3 paragraphs of a novel about twin girls who were born and raised in a lab. I don’t know exactly where the idea came from, but it just seemed to flow out of my rapidly typing fingers.

In 2005 I got a summer internship, my first desk job. Sitting there pretending to be busy wasn’t stimulating, so I wrote another 6 chapters of the novel. After the internship I stopped writing, I guess life just took over, and I didn’t have that downtime to write.

Then finally, Conclusion the last book in The Subjects Trilogy was published and printed. What a long but very rewarding journey!
